GDPR Compliance Statement
The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is effective from the 25th May 2018. The GDPR aims to strengthen the security and protection of personal data in the EU and will replace the European Privacy Directive and national legislations accordingly.
Accolade has implemented numerous technical and organisational measures to ensure complete protection of any personal data processed within our organisation. We apply a high level of data protection and security in relation to personal data that our Clients, employees and business partners entrust to us.
Physical and environmental security
For security purposes we have a legitimate interest as a Data controller in the processing of the personal data that we hold. Data is held in the United Kingdom using a central server in a secure alarmed location and passwords are needed to access the data. Some data is backed up to a secure Carbonite Server in the USA
We have always implemented a consistent level of data protection and security in our business, and are fully GDPR compliant with all required policies, processes and procedures in place.
